Interpretation Services for USCIS Interviews (I-589, I-485, N-400 & More)
ABC Productions offers comprehensive, specialized interpretation services for all United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) interviews. We understand that stepping into a USCIS office represents a critical milestone in your life—whether you are seeking protection, securing your residency, or achieving citizenship. Our mission is to eliminate the language barrier, ensuring your testimony is conveyed with absolute clarity, fidelity, and dignity.
Comprehensive USCIS Coverage: Our certified professionals are deeply familiar with the nuances, procedures, and terminology of a wide range of immigration interviews, including:
Asylum (Form I-589): Navigating complex, emotionally sensitive narratives with profound empathy and precise terminology.
Adjustment of Status / Permanent Residency (Form I-485): Ensuring fluid communication for family-based, employment-based, and marriage-based (including Stokes) interviews.
Naturalization (Form N-400): Providing interpretation for applicants who qualify for English language exemptions (50/20 or 55/15 rules) or medical waivers (Form N-648).
Other Proceedings: Assisting with Family Petitions (I-130), Credible Fear interviews, and other specialized immigration appointments.
Professionalism and Rigor in Interpretation:
Certified Expertise: Our interpreters are accredited linguists with extensive experience in legal and immigration environments.
Unwavering Accuracy: We translate everything truthfully and completely. There are no additions, omissions, or alterations to your testimony.
Neutrality and the USCIS Oath: Our interpreters maintain strict professional neutrality and translate using the first-person grammatical voice ("I," "me," "my") so the immigration officer hears your voice directly. They also officially sign the required interpreter's oath before the interviewing officer.
Commitment to Peace of Mind and Empathy:
Stress Reduction: Immigration interviews are naturally stressful. Our approach focuses on "human quality," bringing patience and calm to the environment so you can focus entirely on your case.
Strict Confidentiality: Every detail of your story and personal background is handled with the highest level of privacy and discretion.
Practical Interview Guidance: We provide clients with pre-interview best practices, such as speaking clearly, keeping answers concise, pausing properly to allow for complete translation, and politely requesting clarification if a question from the officer is unclear.
With abc Productions, you are not just hiring a translator; you are securing a reliable professional partner who guarantees your rights and your story are represented flawlessly.

Based on the professional standards, for a full-day assignment, a team of at least two interpreters is typically required for consecutive interpreting. The guidelines are based on maintaining the highest quality and protecting the interpreter's health, as interpreting is cognitively demanding. Here are the key points from the professional standards for consecutive interpreting:
For assignments involving two languages (interpreting in both directions), the minimum number of interpreters recommended is two.
While a single interpreter may be sufficient for shorter sessions or under exceptional circumstances, for a full-day assignment, two interpreters are generally needed to ensure sustained accuracy and maintain stamina.
A single interpreter may cover assignments up to two (2) hours. Assignments exceeding two hours require a two-person tandem team to prevent cognitive fatigue and ensure accuracy.
The normal duration of an interpreter's working day is limited to two sessions of between 2.5 and 3 hours each (a maximum of approximately 6 hours of work). A full-day assignment exceeding this duration would therefore necessitate a team to allow for breaks and rotation.
Clients are kindly requested to provide all relevant preparation materials at least three business days prior to the start of the assignment.
These materials enable interpreters to study and prepare thoroughly for your project.
If necessary, a confidentiality agreement (NDA) can be signed.
If no materials, presentation decks, or specific information are provided, abc Productions cannot guarantee the quality of the rendition.
We value your time as much as we value ours. Once a service is confirmed, the interpreter reserves the necessary time for your case, including essential prior preparation. By booking our services, you reserve a dedicated slot in our calendar that immediately becomes unavailable to other clients.
Therefore, the following interpreting cancellation policies apply:
30+ Days Notice: No cancellation fee.
