Conference & Technical Interpreting Services (Conferences, Meetings, Events)
ABC Productions' Conference Interpreting service is the premier solution for eliminating language barriers in any high-stakes multilingual setting. Extending far beyond standard procedures, we provide expert interpretation designed to ensure your message is conveyed with absolute accuracy, clarity, and impact at international conferences, technical symposiums, executive board meetings, and corporate events.
Deep Technical Expertise & Industry Specialization: What truly sets abc Productions apart is our profound technical proficiency. Our team brings thousands of hours of proven interpreting experience across highly complex sectors, including Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare and Medicine, Diplomacy, Economics, and the Social Sciences.
Unparalleled Focus on Energy and Oil & Gas: We offer elite interpretation services for the global energy sector. Backed by massive, intensive experience within Venezuela's foundational energy industry, our interpreters have successfully facilitated high-level technical, operational, and executive communications for major industry leaders, including PDVSA and the IFP (Institut Français du Pétrole). We possess an intricate, working knowledge of the complex engineering, regulatory, and corporate terminology required to operate seamlessly at the highest levels of the Oil & Gas industry.
Interpretation Modes:
Simultaneous Interpretation: Ideal for large conferences and technical symposiums. The interpreter translates in real-time while the speaker continues talking, utilizing technical equipment (booths, headsets) to guarantee a fast and natural flow of communication.
Consecutive Interpretation: Perfect for business negotiations, executive meetings, depositions, or small groups. The speaker talks and then pauses for the interpreter to deliver the precise message in the target language.
Whispered Interpretation (Chuchotage): A specialized form of simultaneous interpretation used for a very small number of listeners (usually one or two), where the interpreter quietly whispers the translation directly to the client.
Our Commitment to Quality:
Certified and Experienced Professionals: Our interpreters are rigorously selected not only for their linguistic fluency and cultural knowledge but for their deep subject-matter expertise. They adhere strictly to professional codes of ethics, including absolute neutrality and confidentiality.
Absolute Fidelity: We focus on translating the intent, tone, and technical nuances, in addition to the words, ensuring that your message is perceived exactly as it was conceived by the original speaker.
Flexibility and Logistics: We offer adaptable solutions, including the provision of technical interpretation equipment if needed, seamlessly transitioning between in-person and remote (RSI) formats.
Please note: The minimum booking requirement for assignments in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area is a full-day rate (6 hours). This adjustment aligns with current local market standards and reflects the specific economic conditions within the region.
Trust abc Productions to ensure your global and technical communications are flawless, allowing you to focus entirely on the objectives of your event.
Assignments exceeding 60 minutes require two interpreters, alternating approximately every 30 minutes.
When not actively interpreting, each interpreter provides essential booth support to their colleague.
Interpreters may not be assigned additional tasks or separated to cover parallel meetings.
Clients are kindly requested to provide all relevant preparation materials at least three business days prior to the start of the assignment.
These materials enable interpreters to study and prepare thoroughly for your project.
If necessary, a confidentiality agreement (NDA) can be signed.
If no materials, presentation decks, or specific information are provided, abc Productions cannot guarantee the quality of the rendition.
Interpreters reserve the right to monitor and control their professional image.
This includes the right to charge a recording fee (30%), to request access to the recording, and to be informed of how and when the recording is used, and when its use ceases.
We value your time as much as we value ours. Once a service is confirmed, the interpreter reserves the necessary time for your case, including essential prior preparation. By booking our services, you reserve a dedicated slot in our calendar that immediately becomes unavailable to other clients.
